Challenge
Women with ADHD are disproportionately affected by co-occurring mental health and reproductive disorders, yet this overlap remains largely underdiscussed. The goal was to create an editorial infographic that could live in a women's health magazine or at a health convention, bringing clarity and visibility to this pattern for women ages 18–55.
Approach
Extensive research guided the content and structure of this project. Three data visualizations were developed to map the trends across different conditions, supported by consistent type treatments that gave the piece a cohesive editorial voice. While no direct causation exists between ADHD and these disorders, the data reveals a pattern too significant to overlook.
Result
A soft colour palette, deliberate layout, and carefully chosen typography work together to make a complex and sensitive topic feel approachable rather than clinical. An illustrative background element adds visual flow without competing with the data, keeping the focus on the information itself.
